Lindsworth CentreHeadteacher Mike Clarke decided to purchase a multi-user version of sleuth after it had been recommended to him by a Behavioural Consultant. The Lindsworth Centre (part of The Village Partnership) is spread over two sites, the second of which will be using sleuth in the New Year. What features of sleuth originally interested you in the system? Method of collating data in order to be proactive not fire-fight. How do you feel that sleuth will benefit behaviour management at your school? Allows easy access of collated information to share with staff. There are a number of potential benefits to behaviour management strategies reinforced through the use of sleuth, how would you rank the following in order of importance from 1 to 10, where 1 is the most important?
1. By improving incident reporting In what ways do you think sleuth will help members of staff with behaviour management? Allows us to identify behaviour targets and the effect of these. How do you feel sleuth could be used to support other strategies - e.g. in terms of direct work with students and parents? Could collate % change of behaviour by using direct access to parents. The system claims to be "easy to use"- do you feel staff feedback would support this claim? In general terms yes. Why did you choose sleuth over other behaviour recording systems and which other systems did you consider? On a recommendation. We have not tried others. Do you have any other comments regarding sleuth or School Software Company .com? Spoke to the TES and made positive noises. Lindsworth Centre
