The Sleuth Importer

The Sleuth Importer is a tool to automatically update student and staff data in sleuth using data from your school MIS. This process will also add all new students at the beginning of a new school year and take off-roll all school leavers. Once installed you can choose when and how often the update takes place and any changes made to your MIS are reflected in sleuth immediately following the next scheduled update. All student addresses, primary contact details tutor groups and house groups are always up to date.

How To Get The Sleuth Importer

• New Orders for Sleuth - The Sleuth Importer is now included in the new price of sleuth. You can download sleuth and the Sleuth Importer from our Downloads Page. As soon as we receive your order form (fill-in, print out and fax this online Order Form) we will email your serial number.



• Existing Sleuth Users - To use the Sleuth Importer you must be running sleuth 4.1 or later, if you are using an earlier version the upgrade is free. You can download sleuth v4.11 and the Sleuth Importer from our Downloads Page. As soon as we receive your order form (fill-in, print out and fax this online Order Form) we will email you a new serial number so you can use the Sleuth Importer. You can purchase the Sleuth Importer for £150. 50% of the purchase price will be added to your annual renewal. This will be calculated pro rata if ordering in mid-licence period.
