sleuth can be used to record both positive and negative behaviour. Keeping details of positive behaviour is important for a a number of reasons:

• It provides the complete picture of a pupil's behaviour enabling staff to identify where, when and why they perform well as well as under which circumstances intervention may be required.
• Reward schemes are widely used to encourage good behaviour. sleuth provides the facility to produce reward certificates to present as a record of good behaviour.
• Actions in sleuth can have points assigned to them. This allows behaviour points reports to be generated and compared against set targets.
