The Royal Manor SchoolGraham Sawyer, Head of Behaviour Support at The Royal Manor School in Dorset gives his response to our feedback questionnaire: What features of sleuth originally interested you in the system?
How do you feel that sleuth will benefit behaviour management at your school?
There are a number of potential benefits to behaviour management strategies reinforced through the use of sleuth, how would you rank the following in order of importance from 1 to 10, where 1 is the most important?
In what ways do you think sleuth will help members of staff with behaviour management?
How do you feel sleuth could be used to support other strategies - e.g. in terms of direct work with students and parents? It will be used to show parents concerns about son/daughter and to set failure targets. What procedural changes were required as a result of implementing sleuth at your school? e.g. to your existing policy, to your paper-based system
The system claims to be "easy to use"- do you feel staff feedback would support this claim? Very easy to use although can become time consuming if large amounts of data have to be inputted Why did you choose sleuth over other behaviour recording systems and which other systems did you consider? Looked at the Leeds model, sleuth fitted our requirements better Do you have any other comments regarding sleuth or School Software Company .com? We have been very impressed with the software back-up we have received. The Royal Manor School
